SEREMBAN: A truck, reported stolen from Johor and laden with electronic goods, has been recovered in Senawang yesterday. The eight-tonne truck, carrying a cargo worth about RM500,000, was reported missing in Johor at 8.10am on Saturday. Seremban district police chief, Assistant Commissioner Muhammad Zaki Harun said, the report was lodged by the truck driver who claimed it went missing after it was parked at a warehouse in Kempas Baru. Police then launched a special operation, Ops Tutup, to recover the vehicle. Based on information gathered, police tracked down the vehicle to a location in Senawang. "We believe the thief failed to escape with the truck. The Seremban district police helped Johor police solve the case in under 36 hours," he said, adding that the truck and its cargo have been handed over to Johor police for further investigation.
