A New Revolutionery Connected Car System Has Arrived - “MOTORIMAGE METASAT”
- Enhanced SAFETY with eCall - 1.
- Automatic Crash Alert and Response – alerts the CSE Secure Operating Centre (SOC) - our Metasat call centre, in the event of a crash exceeding high severity level. The SOC experienced personnel will immediately attempt to call the owner and if there is no response, will call MERS 999 (Malaysian Emergency Response Service) or SCDF (Life Saving Force in Singapore) and direct Medical and Police assist to the EXACT vehicle location as fast as possible.
- eCall - for a non-crash emergency, pressing the eCall button on the Remote tag (whilst in the car) or Mobile app will alert the SOC to call you as quickly as possible. Should Roadside Assistance be needed, the SOC will relay the car’s location to our service providers.
- Safety Alert – a safety alert will be sent to you if the battery of your car, Remote tag or Metasat device back up is low or if the system fails to respond during a health-check.

- Enhanced SECURITY with Stolen Vehicle Recovery (SVR) – for even greater peace of mind. A theft alert will be sent to you and the SOC if:
- Your car is driven without the Remote tag, battery is disconnected, towed or Metasat system is sabotaged.
- Stolen vehicle recovery process (SVR) – if the SOC receive a theft alert, the Security Control Room personnel will call you to verify the event. If theft is confirmed, the SOC will activate its SVR process and coordinate with the nearest Police Patrol car in the location for Recovery as FAST as possible.
- Compensation Guarantee (CG) – Motorimage Metasat offers an exclusive Compensation payment to cover the related costs associated with car theft. Protect your insurance No Claims Discount (NCD).
- if your SUBARU is recovered within 72 hours, you will be compensated towards the cost of repair for any damage to your car caused by theft – up to RM5k.
- if your SUBARU is not recovered within 72 hours, you will be compensated with credit towards the purchase of a new Subaru from any Subaru branch or authorised dealer – RM15k.
- if your SUBARU is recovered within 72 hours, you will be compensated towards the cost of repair for any damage to your car caused by theft – up to RM5k.
- Your car is driven without the Remote tag, battery is disconnected, towed or Metasat system is sabotaged.
- SMART LIFESTYLE with Driving Score – with an in-depth view of your SUBARU in the palm of your hands, you are able to have access to the following features:
- Driving Score – monitor how you drive. Your Driving score is calculated based on how you brake, take corners and accelerate, speed, driver fatigue and others. All trips and events such as harsh braking, cornering, speeding, acceleration, etc. that made up your Driving Score can be reviewed and analysed on your mobile app.

- With the Driving score feature, you will be able to know how SAFE a driver you are and possibly benefit from a Usage Based Insurance product once Motor Insurance Tariff is deregulated, foreseen to be in mid 2017.
- Check condition of your car battery.
- Journey history and trip details.
- Set reminders for your car service.
- Set/unset speed limits for your car.
- Set/unset geofence for your car.
- Set/unset your Point of interest (POI).

The yearly subscription for MOTORIMAGE METASAT that covers Safety, Security and Smart Lifestyle services is RM 510/year inclusive of GST and the yearly subscription for Compensation Guarantee (CG) premium is RM 160/year inclusive of GST.
