On the 25th and 26th of August 2016, CSE held our company’s first Blood Donation Drive. In collaboration with Rohde & Schwarz, this joint community project was a way for all PAT Square employees to give back to the community by helping to ensure that blood is available when someone needs it most.

The campaign included a fully sponsored medical health check-up by Life Care Diagnostic Medical Centre and health talk by Klinik Kesihatan from Section 19, Shah Alam. The health screening allowed all employees to receive medical consultation in order to determine their current health status. Meanwhile, the health talk helped to promote healthier eating habits by providing tips on having balanced nutritional meals.

The blood donation itself was the highlight of the event. Conducted by Klang Government Hospital, this activity received a very good response as many employees from both CSE and Rohde & Schwarz turned up to support this life-saving cause.

It’s a fact that one unit of blood can save up to three lives and with the recent Blood Donation Drive, CSE has played our part, not just in raising awareness on the importance of donating blood, but also in helping to save lives.
