TERMS & CONDITIONS

VIP Assist is a special road side assist program created by CSE to offer to its Customers value-added services on top of the various telematics services to enhance the overall customer experience while owning/driving a vehicle.

The terms and conditions stated in this document is to be read in conjunction with the main Terms and Conditions that govern the respective telematics services with the Customer.

VIP Assist offers the following road-side assistance:-

Unlimited Towing
In case vehicle is stranded due to flood, breakdown or accident, we will arrange towing back to an authorized workshop within the geographical areas of Peninsular Malaysia (excluding its islands save and except for Penang and Langkawi), East Malaysia (excluding its islands save and except for the island of Labuan). Any toll charges incurred during the journey will be borne by the Customer.
Unlimited Mileage
On-Site Repairs
Labour for minor roadside repairs including battery jump start/replacement, tyre replacement, fuel delivery, minor repairs. Parts including battery, fuel if required, will be borne by Customer. Available only within the geographical areas of Peninsular Malaysia (excluding its islands save and except for Penang and Langkawi), East Malaysia (excluding its islands save and except for the island of Labuan).
Up to RM 300 per incident
Cross Border Towing
Upon request by Customer, we will arrange for repatriation of the vehicle from Brunei, Singapore or Thailand to the borders of Malaysia. All costs and expenses incurred will be borne by the Customer. We will then tow the vehicle from the border to Customer’s preferred location under “Unlimited Towing” clause above.
Unlimited Mileage in Malaysia
Transport Reimbursement
In case of accident repairs, we will bear the cost of alternative transport during the period when the vehicle is under repair.

This is only applicable if:-

  1. the crash is registered in our server *
  2. the repairs are done at authorised PIAM workshops.

A daily sub-limit of RM200 and RM1,000 per event are applicable.

  1. To initiate the transport reimbursement claim, you are required to fill up a “Notice of Claim” form available from our SOC.
  2. Claims must be made within 2 months from the incident date.

Alternative transport includes e-hailing, car-sharing, car rental or taxi.

If applicable, up to the amount stated in the respective product and service brochures.

All features and offerings are subject to change without notice.

*IMPORTANT NOTE!
The type of Services provided to the Customers are dependent on the devices and mobile apps configured for that product offering. For all Services to be rendered, a smartphone with an active data connection is mandatory.

Microtag
The Microtag is a bluetooth-enabled device which works only when paired with a smartphone that has downloaded the respective mobile app designed to provide the services listed in the respective brochures and sales material.

MicroPlug, OBD and other Fixed Devices
These range of devices are designed to be a standalone device powered by the vehicle’s battery. Please ensure that the devices are always in good condition and ensure that immediate action be taken if you receive any device health failure alerts and notifications.
